Save Ugly was just one part of a broader brand relaunch we undertook during our time at the Wilderness Society. The aim was to reach audiences beyond the green bubble.
A quick snapshot of
our Wilderness years.
In 2016, we got the irresistable opportunity to join the comms team at the Wilderness Society. During this time we worked hard to build a culture of collaboration and creativity. Our teams flipped three seats to win a state election, changed deforestation laws, got a threatened species plan for an ugly critter, crowd-funded a fleet of environmental spy drones (and had Google build us a platform to help prosecute the baddies), and growth-hacked our way to the most successful fundraiser in the organisation’s modern history.
